Europe book published today!

The Europe 2038 book “Young Peoples’ Visions and Worries for the Future of Europe: Findings from the Europe 2038 Project” (Editors: Dagmar Strohmeier & Harriet Tenenbaum) was published today!
Based on the findings in the seven countries, evidence-based recommendations for policy, practice and intervention are summarized in the book.

“Europe 2038”: A project serving the society

On February 14, 2019, the project Europe 2038 was presented as representative activity of the Center of Research on Developmental and Educational Dynamics (Centro di Ricerca delle Dinamiche Evolutive ed Educative C.R.I.d.e.e., Catholic University), during the public event The Third Mission of Universities: opportunities and challenges, organized by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (campus of Milan, Italy). During the event, particular relevance has been given to the recent publication of the project monograph Young People’s Visions and Worries for the Future of Europe, edited by Dagmar Strohmeier & Harriet Tenenbaum (publisher; Taylor & Francis; Routledge), which presents the outcomes of the Europe 2038 project.

Members of European Parliament discuss “Europe 2038”

On December 1, 2017 at the “Casa della Psicologia” (Piazza Castello 2, Milan, Italy) the Italian results of the “Europe 2038” project will be presented during the public meeting “EUROPE 2038: Young people’s visions on the future of the European Union”.

The meeting was organized by the Lombardy Regional Board of Psychology and the Milan Information Offices of the European Parliament. Talkers in the meeting will be Bruno Marasá (head of the Milan Information Offices of the European Parliament), Riccardo Bettiga (President of the Lombardy Regional Board of Psychology), Simona Caravita (Italian team leader of the “Europe 2038” project), Anna Catasta (President of the Centro di Iniativa Europea organization).

Workshops in Liceul Teoretic Lucian Blaga , Oradea

Two workshops with 47 youngsters were held in Liceul Teoretic Lucian Blaga, Oradea. The workshops were held in English language by Carmen Bora and Hanna Steiner who visited the Romanian team. The main goal of the workshop was to discuss the results of the Romanian survey with the pupils and to collect their ideas regarding measures how to achieve the visions for Europe 2038. The workshops took place on May 29.

Europa 2038 bei SocNet98

Während der SocNet98 international week, die von 2. bis 5. Mai 2017 in Linz stattfinden wird, wurde das Projekt Europa 2038 im Rahmen des Workshops ¿Qué será, será? Visions and Worries of Adolescents and Young Adults for the Future of Europe präsentiert. Es wurden die Ergebnisse des PAN European Surveys, der in sieben Ländern durchgeführt wurde, einer internationalen Gruppe von Sozialarbeiter/innen vorgestellt, sowie konkrete Maßnahmen auf lokaler, nationaler und EU Ebene erarbeitet und diskutiert.

Workshops in Liceul Teoretic German “Friedrich Schiller”, Oradea

Four workshops with 44 youngsters were held in Liceul Teoretic German “Friedrich Schiller”, Oradea. The workshops were held in German language by Hanna Steiner who visited the Romanian team. The main goal of the workshop was to discuss the results of the Romanian Survey with the pupils and to collect their ideas regarding measures how to achieve the visions for Europe 2038. The workshops took place on February 21 & 28, and March 23 & 24.

Europa 2038 in Linz, Austria

Präsentation “Europa 2038 – Visionen und Ängste von jungen Menschen” an der Fachhochschule Oberösterreich in Linz am 26.1.2017.

Die Ergebnisse der österreichischen Studie wurden am 26.1. 2017 von 18 bis 19 Uhr  in Linz präsentiert.

Symposium and multiplier event in Oradea

Results from Romania, Spain, Italy and Austria were presented during a plenary symposium at the XXI Workshop Aggression organized by Prof. Simona Trip and Dr. Carmen Bora, November 18. A discussion round with multipliers including the European parliamentary Emilian Pavel was also organized and the results from the Europe 2038 project were discussed with a large number of national multipliers.

Europe2038 in den Zeitungen

Die ersten Ergebnisse des Europa 2038 Projekts wurden in verschiedenen österreichischen Zeitungen kommuniziert. Am 5.11.2016 gab es eine Beilage in der Zeitung Der Standard. Am 8.11.2016 gab es einen Bericht in den Oberösterreichischen Nachrichten. Am 13.11.2016 gab es einen Bericht in der Wochenzeitung Profil. Wir freuen uns über das hohe Medieninteresse in Österreich!
